Merry Christmas!
This time of year we all get caught up in buying gifts for our loved ones, setting up our Christmas trees, and then finally pigging out and watching the all day marathon of A Christmas Story. Let us take a moment and remember the real reason for every season.Instead of thinking about what we hope to get, reflect on what you are thankful for. I've listed 12 things that I'm so grateful God did for me in 2014! Once again, Merry Christmas and have a great New Year!
.) All the time I spent with my family
.) Completing my Junior of college
.) Completing my first semester of senior year! (The countdown has begun)
.) Increasing my confidence in myself
.) Blessing me with a job
.) Spending time with my father in his new stage of life – retirement!
.) Learning so many new stories in the Bible
.) Allowing me to speak at so many events
.) Growing closer to my nieces
.) Friends gained
.) “Friends” lost
.) All of you!
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. (Luke 2:11 NIV)
